The experiment was conducted during 2010-2011 season on Lath house in the College of Agriculture/Basrah University to investigate two treatments, the number of spray and five levels of powhumus (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20) ml/L on growth and Yield of tomato plant.
The results showed that the spray number and the level of powhumus and the interaction between the two factors had a significant effect on the growth and yield characteristics. The highest average of plant length, total leaves number, flower branches number , total flower number, fruits number, fruits weight , total Yield/Plant and T.S.S realized at three sprays which gave (86.3 cm, 78.5 leave, 6.86 branches, 70.00 flower, 75.54, 75.54%, 26.84 fruits, 82.22g , 2206 g/plant and 7.89%) respectively. |
