| A field experiment was conducted in Abul Khaseeb in Basrah governorate to study the effect of three average of iron (0 , 20 , 40)mg Fe/L/date palm/year and three average of benzyladenine (0 , 20 , 100)mg BA/L/date palm/year , and their interactions on chemical and yield properties of date palm (Hellawi). The result shouted with increasing iron retes caused significant decreasing in total sugar , and reduced contents in Hillawi fruits were affected with increasing iron rates during different stage of fruit growth .Fertilizer treatment (40mg Fe) gave the lowest values as compared to control treatment , while increasing benzyladenine average were significantly increased the fruit contents of total sugar and reduced , treatment (50mg BA) gave higher rates of sugar as compared to control treatment .Addition the treatment (40mg Fe + 100mg BA) gave the lowest values as comoared to other treatments . Sucrose was take a different behavior as total sugar and reduced in fruit , so the treatment ( 40mg Fe + 100mgBA) gave the higher average of sucrose , studying the effects of iron and benzyladenine and the interactionwith them on the mineral content in fruits, the results indicated that addition of iron and benzyl- adenine together had significant effects in increasing (N , P, Fe ).So the iron and benzyladenine treatments and the interaction with them had significant increasing of proteins in fruits. Results showed the treatment (40mgFe)had significant increasing bunch weight. But the benzyladenine averages had no significant increasing in bunch weight .The treatment (40mg Fe+ 100mg BA) confirmed the highest bunch weight (5.13 Kg) . |
