| Abstract | ||
| This study was conducted in the labrotary, to assess the biological activity of the crude Extract of alkaloid compounds extract of Dianthus caryophyllus flowers on some Biological aspects of the performance Life of the Tribolium confusum . The present results revealed that crud alkaloid extract of the flowers had significantly effected the mortality of the different stages of T. confusum as follows: The average rate of mortality of the second, six larval stages, pupae and adult insect were (83.8,63.9,68.8,49)frequency, when treated with crud alkaloid extract at 2% concentration, as compared with (21.1,16.8,14.2,9.9)frequency for the control treatment. Also, direct correlation was found between effectiveness and its concentrations. It was found that the second larval instars was more susceptible than six larval stages, it was gave highest mortality at different concentration. | ||
