IbnArabi believed that “ Koran had serial existential grades which began from the upper existential grades . Then it descended to the mental specifications with their multiple grades , that minds with their actualities and existences became denotations for Koran . After that , it descended to the spiritual specifications , that souls with their actualities became denotations for it . Then , it descended to luminous quantitative specifications , that ideal world with its grades became denotations for it . Later , it descended to the natural specifications , that natural bodies became denotations for it . Finally , it reached at the last existential grades , and God embodied it by sounds , letters , writings and inscriptions so that human ears and eyes could perceive it , that letters became denotations for it . Since all existential grades were denotations for Koran , it was manifestation for every thing , nor anything fresh or dry but was in it . And for Koran had all those existential grades , therefore , people had various degrees of benefiting from it ”.
