| Abstract | ||
| The research aims at realizing the Malaysian aspirations towards the world market through focusing on analyzing the orientations of the development of the external trade in both import and export between Malaysia and different countries of the world as well as the change of its geographical distribution during the period under discussion. The research is based on a hypothesis; states that there has been a development in Malaysian external trade with the world accompanied with a change in the geographical distribution of its components of merchandises' export and import. The research has also included two basic axes, the first has discussed the main features of the Malaysian economy, while the second has focused on the external trade and the aspects of its geographical distribution in Malaysia during that period. The research has attained a number of conclusions and proposals. | ||
