| Abstract | ||
| In this work, a series of N-acetyl-2-{[5-(3,4-bis(methylene)-2,5- dioxopyrrolidine-1-yl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl]-N'[chloro(substituted phenyl) methyl] acetohydrazides (8-13) were prepared from the reaction of the corresponding Schiff bases (2-7) with benzoyl chloride, which upon refluxing with thiourea in absolute ethanol in the presence of K2CO3 for 4 hrs yielded the corresponding thiourease compounds (14-19). The synthesized compounds were confirmed by their IR and UV spectral data | ||
