| Abstract | ||
| This study deals with three points: First/ The fundamental beginnings of al-Ghazzali were not pure philosophical treatments. But jurisprudence . from which penetrate deeply into theology . . Second/ al-Ghazzali`s study of philosophy was subjective and personal. He did not refer to any philosophical refe- rence but the Aristotlean school. Third//alGhazzalconsolidated,especiallywith philosophy of al-Farabi and Ibn Sina .In his Kitab Maqasid al-Falasifah. al-Ghazzali gave a great attention to summarize the statement of philosophers with the aims of showing philosophy could be write if it appears systematic. Then he presented his criticism in his kitab Tahafut al-falasifah in which he was rebuilding what the philosophers made or committed a mistake or an error in their thoughts. Here he did not show us that he against philosophy. In fact he was a ,those Maznonah `Ala ghayr Ahliha. In all these books, al-Ghazzali was a real philosopher, criticizing philosophers but not philosophy. He was indeed a great critic philosopher | ||
