Having surveyed the poetry of complaint of the pre Islam poets and its poetic texts , we have found out a lot about their day life aspects , especially those concerned with their egos and the essence of their grieves . this is clearly revealed in a scream from their deep hearts as a strict complaint ,refusing such disastrous reality imposed on them . it is not unusual for such sufferings to emerge on the surface with mouth which had severely tested the unhappy life . all these led those poets not to speak openly and refused to say nothing , but to devote more efforts to find out proper solution for such public sufferings .
Their poems were as outlets for their grieves and sufferings and also as efforts to get a happy and prosperous life in which all people live in a society that respects them all without any discrimination, with rights distributed equally.
This complaint was a result of successive situation created by the inevitable pressure of destiny, one that is irresistible or avoidable for it is out of power of ego . Despite this, one should not surrender and keep struggling.
Such the above developing feeling of the pre Islam poets and their efforts to break the chain of the unfairness, having the idea to fix on principles, and not to accept unfairness and life disasters.
Based on the analysis done by the researcher on various models of the poetry of complaint, it has been found out that the poets' sufferings were various according to those circumstances they live in. To cite some, some poems show the image of the individual when he is strong, then he becomes arrogant, lazy, and subservient, with happiness deprived, i.e lacking good health or body.
Further, in other times these poets give two opposite picture (young and old) and (wealth and money) which constitute the elements of the human existence. In addition to the two cases of poverty and richness and the wide gap between them.
The poets also had written on woman and describe their admiration on her. Finally, all these led to sadness to be raised which in turn led ego arising. |
