| Abstract | ||
| The research aims at detecting a religious content of some folk treatment methods, by revealing the religious reasons that persuading the society's individual's to make use of some methods of folk treatment. The sample was on purpose, and involved (60) person how benefit from the religious or spiritual folk remedy in Mosul city, and the researcher uses questionnaire as a principal instrument in collecting data and information that related to the society of the Mosul city , in addition to interview, and simple and complex observation . The researcher also uses percentage, arithmetical mean, standard deviation, and mathematical weight, as statistical means. The research found out that there are many religious reasons that stimulate patients to take advantage of some methods of folk medicine such as cupping, amulet (Ruqyah) and cauterization, because there are a recommendations in the Hadith encouraging the sample to use this methods. So, some of the sample's individuals feel relaxation. Others also saw that some religious folk remedy methods have the ability to deal with cases like mass (by Satan or jinn ), magic. | ||
