Abstract
أجريت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على مدى تأثير تلوث الأطعمة في انتشار داء الاميبا في محافظة نينوى للعامين 2004 و2005. إذ تم فحص 5093 عينة براز من الجنسين (ذكور وإناث) وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين 45-1سنة. وفحصت عينات البراز بالطريقة المباشرة للكشف عن وجود طفيلي اميبا الزحار. وبينت النتائج إن أعلى نسبة للإصابة في عام 2004 وخلال شهري حزيران وتشرين الأول إذ بلغت نسبة الإصابة 11% واقل إصابة خلال شهري نيسان وكانون الأول إذ بلغت 6% أما في عام 2005 فكانت أعلى نسبة إصابة خلال شهر آب إذ سجلت نسبة 13% في حين كانت اقل نسبة إصابة خلال شهر آذار إذ سجلت نسبة 2%.أما بالنسبة لعلاقة الإصابة مع الفئات العمرية فقد بينت النتائج إن الفئة العمرية 1 - 4 سنة هي أكثر الفئات العمرية تعرضاً للإصابة إذ بلغت النسبة (29% و 31%) للأعوام المدروسة على التوالي واقلها ضمن الفئة العمرية 45 سنة فأكثر إذ بلغت(7% و5%) . كذلك أظهرت النتائج إن نسبة إصابة الذكور بلغت 54 % ونسبة إصابة الإناث 46% على التوالي خلال الأعوام المدروسة .This study investigates the effect of food contamination on the prevalence of amoebiasis in Ninevah province in the year 2004 – 2005. 5093 stool samples were tested directly from both human sexes (whose ages range between 1–45 years) for Entamoeba histolytica. Results showed highest infections in June and October 2004 with an infection rate of 11%, and the least in April and December an infection rate of 6% while in 2005 the highest infection was in August with a rate of 13% .The least infection rate was at March with 2% .The study revealed that the age of ( 1–4 years ) was more reliable to infection at a rate of (29 and 31%) at the researched years mentioned above, while the age 45 and older was less infected with a rate of (7%,5%). Moreover, the results showed that the infection rate of the males is 54 % and of the females is 46 % at the Years studied .
