Abstract
على الرغم من تعدّد أجناس الوجود الحيّ فإنّ هناك خاصّية مشتركة تجمع بين هذه الأجناس وهي إرادة الحياة التي تعني سعي الكائنات الحية كافّة من أجل البقاء والحفاظ على كينونتها سعياً لا يخضع لضوابط العقل المنطق ، وتحاول هذه الدراسة الكشف عن قسم من مظاهر هذه الإرادة في الشعر الجاهلي لأنّنا وجدنا في هذا الموضوع مادّة صالحة للبحث . وقد قامت الدراسة على توطئة بيّنا فيها مفهوم الإرادة وما تمتاز فيه عن الإرادة على وفق المفهوم التقليدي . وتحدّثنا بعد التوطئة عن مظاهر إرادة الحياة في النصوص قيد الدراسة ، إذ كشفنا عن أسباب انشغال الكائنات الحيوانية بإشباع حاجة الطعام والشراب ، وتناولنا في حديثنا اندفاع قسم من الشعراء اندفاعاً لا معقولاً من أجل إشباع غريزتهم الجنسية ، فضلاً عن تناولنا لقسم من صور الصراع الإنساني –الحيواني والحيواني- الحيواني ، علماً أنّنا لم نتناول مظاهر إرادة الحياة كافة نظراً لطبيعة البحث لأن تناول كل مظاهر الإرادة يتطلّب دراسة مطوّلة وليس بحثاً صغيراً The phenomena of volition of life is outstanding in Pre-Islamic poetry. One of its outstanding features is that most of living creatures try to satisfy their needs concerning feeding and drinking in addition to the submission of the existence to the conflict which organize the existence. The withdrawal of a living creature of risking and his cowardice in front of death is another feature of preferring life. This study, however, represents a response to a volition of life; the magical act of feeding and irrational sex which may lead to killing others are but a phase of the volition of life. Furthermore, the violation of values for the sake of life is another response of the power of volition of life.
