Abstract
يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف الى مستوى عمليات العلم لدى طلبة قسمي علوم الحياة في كليتي التربية والعلوم - جامعة الموصل وعلاقتها بدافعهم المعرفي في ضوء متغيري الكلية والجنس، تكونت عينة البحث من (103) طلاب وطالبة في الصف الثالث في الأقسام المذكورة ، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث اعتمد الباحثان أداتين : الأولى اختبار عمليات العلم الذي أعدته (BSCS) وترجمة (النمر،1981) وقام الباحثان بتكييفه لمجتمع البحث وعينته من خلال استخراج صدقه وثباته وقوة تمييز فقراته وحساب زمن الإجابة عليه ، والثانية مقياس الدافع المعرفي الذي أعده (محمود ، 2004) وهو معد أساساً لطلبة جامعة الموصل. بعد تطبيق أداتي البحث قام الباحثان بتحليل البيانات إحصائيا، وأظهرت النتائج ضعف مستوى عمليات العلم لدى طلبة أقسام علوم الحياة في جامعة الموصل وان دافعهم المعرفي جيد وأعلى من الوسط الفرضي للمقياس، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) في العلاقة الارتباطية بين عمليات العلم والدافع المعرفي في متغير الكلية لدى طلبة قسم علوم الحياة في كلية العلوم, ولم تظهر النتائج فرقاً ذا دلالة إحصائية في العلاقة الارتباطية بين عمليات العلم والدافع المعرفي في متغير الجنس، وفي ضوء نتائج البحث وضع الباحثان عدداً من التوصيات والمقترحات.The present research aims at knowing the level of the science processes for the student of the department of biology in college of Education and science in University of Mosul and its relation with their cognitive according to certain variables such as college and gender. The sample of this research consisted of (103) male and female students in the third stage in the department mentioned above. In order to achieve the goals of the research depended two instruments. The first is to choose the science processes prepared by (BSCS) and translated by (Al- Namir 1998). The researchers adapted this tool to the society of the research and its sample through extracting its validity and reliability, the preciseness of its items and the account of the answering time. The second instrument measurement of the cognitive motivation prepared by (Mahmoud 2004), which was originally prepared for the students of Mosul University. After applying the two instruments of the research, the researchers analyzed the date statistically. The result showed the weakness of the level of the science processes for the students of the departments of biology in Mosul University, and their cognitive motivation is good and higher than the proposed mean of the standard. Also the result showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level 0.05 in the connective relationship between science processes and their cognitive motivation in the variable of the college. However, the results did not point out such a difference between science processes and the cognitive motivation in the variable of gender. According to the results obtained, the researchers set a number of recommendations and suggestions.
