| Lilerature plays an important rule in the life of nations especially when there are humanistic trends and attitudes. When various needs of mankind in eras are spoken of in literature then literature and men of letter remain unfailing in time. Comparative literature plays a significant part in reviving this kind of lasting literature among people and through raising insight of men it can enhance the development of civilizations. The story of BILAWHAR WA BŪDĀSF is an example of a work of lasting significance in the tale of man which has been translated into many languages. In this paper , it has been tried to point out the impact of this story in the dialogue of civilizations while introducing the story in brief. This paper will deal with: 1. the role of humanities in the development of civilizations. 2. the civilization impact of comparative literature. 3. the world of literature and the dialogue of civilizations. 4. the story and its stance in comparative literature. 5. the story of BILAWHAR WA BŪDĀSF and its naming. 6. the origin and the sources of the story. 7. the abstract of the central theme. 8. extracts of the story. 9. the story in Persian and Arabic languages. the story and its translations in different languages of the world | ||
