Abstract:
A Field experiment was conducted in a private field at Al- Latifiya, on a loamy soil at spring season 2012, to study the effect of sparying of Fe , Zn and ( Fe + Zn ) at different stage of potato growth on tuber yield plant, means of tuber weight, total tuber yield and percent of dry matter of tuber that fertilized by organic fertilizer. Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was adopted with three replications. Results showed that the highest values of the yield and yield component were associated with spraying of Fe + Zn treatment in which the means of tuber yield plant -1, mean weight of tuber, Total tuber yield, and percent of dry matter in tuber were 689.42 gm.plant -1, 71.57 gm. tuber -1, 34.48 T.ha -1 and 12.69 % respectively. The most affecting stages of spraying nutrients on these yield parameter were associated with stage of bulking which gave 579.37 gm.plant -1, 62.89 gam.tuber-1, 28.97 T.ha-1 and 11.47 % of tuber yield plant, mean weight of tuber, total tuber yield and percent of dry matter in tuber. Interaction treatment of spraying with Fe + Zn at bulking stages gave 755.00 gm.plant -1, 77.78 gm.tuber -1, 37.75 T.ha-1 and 13.76 % of tuber yield plant, mean weight of tuber, Total tuber yield and percent of dry matter in tuber respectively. |
