Abstract
Abstract: The research was conducted to investigate the effect of whole crushed black seed and oil Extracted propoils (OEP) with their synergism on productive performance of broiler chickens , for this purpose a total of 320 one day old, broiler chickens (Ross308) were used, those chickens were randomly allocated in to 8 equal treatment (40 chicks for each treatment) and each treatment included 2 equal replicates . Chickens in the first treatment (T1) were fed ordinary diet whereas , those in T2 ,T3 and T4 were fed on the same ordinary diet which contained OEP at alevel of 100 ,200 and 300 mg/ kg for T2 , T3 and T4 respectively . chickens in T5 were fed on the same ordinary diet after addition of 1% whole crushed black seed powder mean while chickens in T6 , T7 and T8 were fed on the same diets which were used for T2 , T3 and T4 after addition of OEP at a level of 100 , 200 and 300 mg /kg in T6 , T7 and T8 respectively . Mean body weights, weight gains , feed consumption and feed conversion rate were calculated weekly . Results illustrated ahigh Significant effect ( P<0.01) on increasing of mean body weights as well as weight agins , a highly significant effect on feed consumption and improvement of feed conversion rate due to the synergestic effect of black seed powder and OEP in T7 and T8 .
