| Abstract | ||
| By examining the positions taken by the seminary (Hawza) in Najaf and Karbala towards Arab issues between 1925-1956 AD The researcher came to the Hawza as a religious institution are of particular importance and prominent position in Iraq and the Arab world. Where it has actively participated in shaping the political events in Iraq and participated in all events the Arab and Islamic efforts for liberation and independence. He was also the existence of this institution in the city of Karbala and Najaf, the men had been paid the national movement and national coordination with the clerics to issue fatwas that prohibit the desecration of Islamic lands by foreign colonialism. Where mixed with a sense of national feeling and national humanitarian form of political activity in the holy cities did not stop when the territorial boundaries of Iraq, but went to Arab and Islamic countries were Hawza best champion of the peoples against imperialism and Zionism and slavery, then fuss holy cities by the clergy times and times and sacrificed much of her sons to defend the dignity of the homeland, freedom and to preserve the authenticity of the Islamic message. As conclusion.. We have to say that the spread of culture and awareness and frequent meetings among the scientific men of the estate, contributed effectively to show the role of this institution on the political level of the nation and the Islamic world. | ||
