| Iraq has passed many important development within the last decades that left their effects on different aspects of life, including economic aspect. Iraqi economics has witnessed fluctuations in different economic variables according to the political reality and surrounding conditions. In spite of all these developments and differentiation in economic policy directions and how to use its tools. Yet, the common standard during the last years was the monetary inflation Iraq has witnessed increase in the general level of prices during the nineties of the last century and the first decade of this century and it was of the creeping inflation which characterized by its continuity during that period. This was the main reason behind conducting this paper. Both Researchers tried to study this phenomenon to find out its reasons and its reflections on Iraqi economy. This paper based on the following two hypotheses: 1. Continuity in issuing the currency as a major reason in the monetary inflation. 2. The huge operative budget in Iraq particularly salaries and wages section for officials and public sector employees with all economic total demand that implies in contrast with the decreased inefficient production system. This paper includes six sections: The first section deals with the concept of inflations while the second one deals with the inflation in the economic theory. The third section deals with the methods of inflation measuring, while the fourth one deals with measuring of monetary inflation level in Iraq. The fifth section care with economic reflections for the monetary inflation phenomena in Iraq. The sixth section is devoted to the conclusions and recommendations | ||
