Abstract :
A research was conducted in tissue culture lab. ,Coleage of Agricultur- University of Baghdad during Sep. 2011 to Nov. 2012. Vegetative growth of potato was cultured on media MS , B5 supported with concentration of kintine ( 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 ) mg/L for generating vegetative growth and concentrations ( 0 , 2 , 4 , 6 ) mg/L from kintine and BA to microtuber. The MS media with 1 mg/L kintine gave high mean in plant height, number of branches , fresh wight and dry wight amount to ( 14.2 cm , 4.4 shoots/plant , 1508 mg , 138 mg ) respectively. compared with B5 media gave mean in plant height, number of branches , fresh wight and dry wight amount to ( 7.0 cm , 2.2 shoots/plant , 648 mg , 62.0 mg ) respectively. High number of tubers/plant and fresh wight of microtubers reached to ( 4.1 tuber/plant , 244.5 mg ) produced by media MS that supported with 4 mg/L on kintine respectively.compared with B5 media gave number of tubers/plant and fresh wight of microtubers reached to ( 2.20 tuber/plant , 127.6 mg ) respectively. |
