Abstract
Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine the electrical conductivity of soil saturation paste extract in depending on electrical conductivity of soil suspension extract by finding the mathematical relation between the ratio of soil paste extract Ec to Ec of soil suspension extract ( converting factor ) and the ratio of water to soil in soil paste and suspensions which is sufficient to prepare the saturation paste and suspensions . The results showed that the relations are different second degree multiple equations for all studied soil except in the soil with silt clay loam texture which is linear . These equations can be depended to calculate the converting factor that must be multiplied by the electrical conductivity of same soil suspension extract to find the Ec of saturation
