| تضمنت الدراسة الحالية عزل وتشخيص عدد من الانواع الجرثومية المسببة لحالات الاسهال في الاطفال دون سن الخمس سنوات ، اذ تم جمع 50 عينة خروج من الاطفال الراقدين والوافدين الى مستشفى الخنساء للفترة من منتصف شباط الى منتصف نيسان 2005، زرعت العينات على الاوساط الانتقائية وشخصت الجراثيم النامية بالاعتماد على الصفات الشكلية والفحوصات الكيموحيوية ، اذ تم تشخيص 45 عزلة جرثومية تابعة للعائلة المعوية شملت 18عزلة(40%)للنوعE.coli ،16 عزلة(35.5%)للنوع Klebsiella pneumoniae،4 عزلات (8.8%) للجنس Proteus ، 3 عزلات (6.6%) للجنس Citrobacter وعزلتين (4.4%) لكل من الجنس Serratia والجنس Salmonella .تم التحري عن انتاج انزيم البروتييز الذي يعد من العوامل المحفزة لمرض الامعاء الالتهابي وتبين ان عزلات النوع Serratia marcescens وProteus mirabilis والجنس Salmonella كانت قادرة على انتاج الانزيم في حين لم يظهر النوع Klebsiella pneumoniae أي قدرة لانتاج هذا الانزيم .This study included the isolation and identification of some bacterial species causing diarrhea in children under five years old . Fifty stool specimens were collected from in and out patients of Al-Khansaa hospital during the period from the mid of February to the mid of April, 2005. Specimens were cultured on selected media and the growing colonies were identified using morphological characteristics and biochemical tests. Forty five bacterial isolates belongs to the family enterobacteriaceae were identified, 40%(18 isolates) of them were E.coli; 35.5% (16 isolates) were Klebsiella pneumoniae; 8.8%(4 isolates) of Proteus; 6.6% (3 isolates) of Citrobacter and 4.4% (two isolates) of Serratia and Salmonella. Protease production, which is considered as one of the factors enhancing inflammatory bowel disease, was investigated and it has been found that Serratia macescens , Proteus mirabilis , and Salmonella sp. were able to produce this enzyme while Klebsiella Pneumoniae didn’t. | ||
