| Abstract | ||
| This study was conducted in poultry farm belong to the college University of Al-Anbar to veterinary determine the effect of adding different combination levels of crushed seeds of fenugreek and anise to the diet on productive performance of broiler. Two hundred and twenty five unsexed chicks (Ross) one day old were randomly distributed to five treatment with 3 replicates (15 chicks per replicated) the treatment were as follows: Treatment 1 (control) without any herbal supplementation treatment 2, 3, 4 and 5 included combination of crushed seeds of fenugreek and anisum at the levels of 0.5:0.5, 0.5:1, 1:0.5, 1:1% respectively. The results showed significant improvement (p<0.05) of the supplemented treatments 2 and 3 in average body weight and body weight gain. Treatment 3 gave significant improvement (p<0.05) in feed consumption compared with control and other treatment, Treatment 5 showed significant reduction (p<0.05) in accumulative feed consumption as compared with control. As for the feed conversion efficiency the results showed significant improvement (p<0.05) of the treatments T2, T3 and T4 as compared with control and treatment T5.
