| Abstract Classical and modern Arab grammarians alike paid great attention to the study of grammatical defact and its reasoning because it is the very foundation of grammatical rules and explanations. This paper studies this phenomenon in Al-Zajajis book Explanations of Al-Zajaji's Sentences with particular reference to the section on postnominals and derivatives. The paper falls into an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion. | ||
