| Abstract | ||
| One hundred fifty- two blood sample were collected from the women attending hospital of the children and maternity of AL-Diwania city. These women either born congenital abnormal infants who were died immediately after parturition ,the dead children with psychopathy. The test of Toxo-Latex showed that the percentage of infection in the women attending hospital of the children and maternity , toxoplasmosis is 54.6%,high positive test was (140 ) 28.9% and less than in 1160) 18% .Age group (23-28)years were more susaptable for infection 37.3% ,after that(17-22)years 28.9% and (29-34)years 21.6 %. The percentage of abortion among the infected women is 57.8% and the percentage of the congenital anomalsae is 9.8% | ||
