Abstract
In this research ,films of pure pvc and pvc doped with Zn were prepared using casting technique. The films were exposed to a low dose of γ-rays Transmission and absorption spectra were recorded before and after irradiation ,it is found that irradiation affected the optical constants ,which include absorption, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant.
