Study on the Contamination of Bakery’s handworkers with Staphylococcus aureus and Study Its Ability to Produce Enterotoxins. | ||

| Abstract | ||
| In this research sixty two isolates were obtained belong to Staphylococcus aureus isolated from bakery’s handworkers were working in local ovens at Baghdad city, also from tables used in those ovens. These isolates had identified by using microscopical examination and biochemical tests. This study confirmed that (100%) of these isolates had the ability to produce catalase enzyme while (35.5%) of them had produced DNase enzyme and (61.3%) of them had produced coagulase enzyme. The study showed the higher percentage of isolation of this bacterium was (87%) from paste then (66.6%), (30%) and (27.2%) from noses of handworkers, their hands and working tables respectively. Also, the study confirmed that (53.2%) of the isolates under study had the ability to produce enterotoxins. | ||
