| Educational poetic composition or educational verse is one of the types of poetry that aims at teaching people their life matters, literature and their various sciences through poetic composition which are characterized by easiness of memorization, simplicity of recollection, and their comprehensiveness of the scientific core material. This paper entitled (The Role of Educational Poetic Compositions in Facilitating Islamic Jurisprudence) is a study of what are educational poetic compositions, their history and development in Arabic literature, and an investigation of teaching them as academic material in colleges of Islamic sciences for first year college students in the specialty of Islamic (Figh) jurisprudence. The paper also compromises a model lecture in devotional jurisprudence through the use of a jurisprudent poetic composition for first year students in Islamic jurisprudence. The paper ends with a conclusion that sums up the findings of the study of the role of these educational poetic compositions in facilitating Islamic jurisprudence | ||
