Abstract
The current paper stems from the fact that the style of the prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny) oration gives much shrifts to the level of intellectuality ranging from a personality with propensity for logics, another for emotion and other for argument and sophistry. In part, the study takes hold of the impact of the variety of the linguistic style on convincing the mind of the listener, and changing his satisfaction in light of the sapience of the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny) in his oration and how he convinces the listener. Accordingly, the paper is divided into three sections: the first is entitled as sapience and its evidences between language and the Quranic context to manifest the meaning of the utterance "sapience" in the linguistic dictionaries, and then in the Quranic context. The second is entitled as styles and sapience of the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny) in convincing the listener of tracing the styles the prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny) employs to deal with the listeners as they vary and differ from one to another; dialogue style, lenience style, style of the mitigating circumstances of the listener. The last section comes as variety of oration styles and taking care of the listeners in the language of the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny) to clarify the style of oration, mindful, emotional, psychological, argumentative and remonstrative and how the variety of the styles influences the listener in matter of satisfaction. Ultimately, the conclusion terminates in the results and there come the bibliography and the references the paper exploits.
