In this research, we studied the impact intensity of radioactive sources on the
environment and human by using the two radioactive sources (Cs-137and Co-60).
These sources have ionization power of the air to distance 75cm and 25 cm for
Cs-137and Co-60, respectively, these sources have dangerous effect on the body, so
we used carefully, and the radioactive sources are emitted ionization gamma ray.
Gamma ray penetrate the human body, also penetrate the walls of the building
and different bodies, these sources use in medicine to the cancer patients, in the
agriculture, in the industry and author field, but even small radioactive sources have
big damage, therefore must knowledge how to deal with it by workers and students
inside laboratories, our surveys confirm that the ocean around radioactive sources
becomes ionization and carrier of the electric and polluted.

The statistical distributions such as frequency distribution, relative frequency
distribution, percentage relative cumulative frequency distribution were studied, we
represented it graphically.
The data were presented by different methods:
1-The tables
2-The frequency histogram
3-The frequency polygon
4-The broken line
5-The curve line
We have found from this presentation that the frequency distributions are not
identical, called the crooked distributions, we have found two natural groups
because the broken line into two groups.
The first and second groups were represent a natural background radiation and
higher than the background radiation, respectively. The average of data were equal
to 0.43 μSv/h from a 90 reading and 0.54μSv/h from a108 reading for Cs-137and
Co-60, respectively. |
