Abstract
The research aimed estimating the knowledge level for agricultural officials In Planning Process Of Agricultural Extension Programs general, to order the items of research according to the knowledge of agricultural officials to them, also to determine the correlation significantly between the knowledge level for agricultural officials and independent variables in the research the . For the purpose of obtaining research data adopted a questionnaire composed of two parts the first part: includes number of questions to obtain information on personal and , function , the second part included a scale to measure the knowledge level of agricultural officials in planning of agricultural extension , included (26) items was sure of the face validity for items of the scales. the reliability coefficient (0.80) and the coefficient of validity (0.89). The search included all agricultural officials in governorate Nineveh who are (175) employees, where tooken a simple random sample of them ( 40%) and by ( 70) employees. The results showed that the knowledge level of agricultural officials In Planning Process Of Agricultural Extension Programs general is medial, also show a correlation significantly between the knowledge level and the independent variables the following :-( age, and upbringing, and previous training in agricultural extension), and results did not show a correlation significant between knowledge level and independent variables as follows: (level of education, career center, length of service extension, specialization, work site), also found that the top three items are(know the status of work plan for Agricultural Extension programs, knowledge concept of balance, in the planning of extension programs, see how to implement the work plan for the agricultural extension program)respectively, and the researcher recommends the need to work to raise the knowledge level
