	Effect of Magnetic Treated Water on Some Hematological Characteristics of ((Hy-Line Brown)) Male

Abstract
This study was conducted at poultry farm of Bakrajo research station/ Animal production Department / Faculty of Agricultural Sciences / University of Sulaimani during the period 1/1/2008 to 1/4/2008, a total of 80 Hy-Line Brown breeder rooster at age 34 weeks were divided into groups of 20 roosters each and randomly assigned to 4 treatment groups. Each 4 treatments have 4 replicates of 5 roosters each. Water was magnetized by using dipole magnetic devices with intensity of 500, 1000 and 2000 gausses. Experimental treatments were as follows: T1 roosters drank magnetically treated water which passed through magnetic device with strength of 500 gauss, T2 roosters drank magnetically treated water which passed through magnetic device with strength of 1000 gauss, T3 roosters drank magnetically treated water which passed through magnetic device with strength of 2000 gauss and T4 (Control Group, C) roosters drank normal water without magnetism as control. These treatments were applied during the entire period of experiment (12 weeks). Blood traits included in this study were hematocrit, hemoglobin concentration, red and white blood cell counts, the ratio of Heterophile cells / Lymphocytes cells and were measured the Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH) and Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC).Results revealed that treated the roosters with magnetically treated water with intensity 500, 1000 and 2000 gausses (T1, T2 and T3) resulted in significant (P<0.01 and P<0.05) increase in some periods of the study for values of hematocrit, hemoglobin concentration and red blood cell counts as compared with control group (C) especially in the beginning of the experiment, were the second and third treatment (1000 and 2000 gausses) were top significantly on control treatment in most periods of the experiment. While not noticed any significant differences (P>0.05) in white blood cell counts. While observed significant decrease (P<0.05) in heterophil to lymphocyte ratio in first period (14 days) in magnetically treated treatments especially in T3 (2000 gausses) and also not significant decrease in the last three period as compared to control group which gave the highest ratios. Furthermore, there was no significant difference (P>0.05) in most periods of the study for MCV, MCH and MCHC means values, except the third treatment (2000gausses) were significant superior (P<0.05) upon the control treatment in the third period of the study for MCV characters, and the treatments of magnetic treated water by intensity 1000 and 2000 gausses were significantly (P<0.05) increased of MCH values in the third period of the study
