	Effect of Using Different Rations of Linseed Meal on Milke Production, Compositio and Some Blood Parameters in Awassi Ewes

Abstract
This study was conducted by using 18 Awassi ewes , 2-5 years aged, with average body weight 61.75 kg. The ewes were randomly divided into three groups each of eight. Ewe in each group received 1.5 kg/ dry matter of three rations. The first group was fed on control ration consist mainly of barley, wheat bran, soybean meal and wheat straw ( T1 ) ,while 5and10% of linseed meal were replacement in the rations of the second ( T2 ) and third (T3 ) groups respectively. Results showed that the treatments had no significant effect on average body weight. While milk production was significantly increased ( P < 0.05 ) in T3 than T1and T2 634.2, 480.1 and 479.1 kg/day/ewe and amount of lactose27.46 ,28.08 and 37.99 kg/day, fat 36.68, 37.51and 49.03 kg/day and protein 19.41, 19.26 and 26.06 kg/day respectively. Rumen liquor pH, ammonia and microorganism concentration before feeding was not affected, while 2hafter of feeding, the pH value of rumen liquor was increased significantly (P < 0.05) in T3 6.56 when compared with T1 5.85 and T2 6.15 and 5.65, but ammonia concentration was decreased significantly(P < 0.05)in T3 10.13 as compared with T1 11.81and T2 10.92 mg/100ml, the results indicated that levels of linseed meal had no significant effect on rumen micro flora concentration microorganism concentration in rumen. blood parameters was not affected by experimental treatment, but total protein was increased in T3 8.68 compared with T1 7.21 and T2 7.43 gm/100ml, globulin was decreased significantly (P < 0.05) in T1 2.91 compared with T2 3.51 and T3 3.97 gm/100ml.
