| Abstract | ||
| The extrinsic photoconductive germanium doped gold detector was fabricated using vacuum evaporation and annealing of gold on germanium single crystal. The characteristics of these detectors have been examined using infrared source with emitting spectral range between (1-28)μm under liquid nitrogen, and the maximum responsivity and specific detectivity were about (0.4 A/W) and (8×109cm (Hz)1/2/W) respectively at wavelength of 5 μm. | ||
