Abstract
This study included taken the blood sample from 150 persons from five districts in Falluja city (Al-Julan, Al-Mualemeen, Al-Shueta and Dhubat, Al-Jumhuriya and Al-mutasim and Al-Qadisiyia district), The blood sample From 30 persons was taken from each distract and as a control 30 blood samples was taken from persons live out of the city. The samples divided to fore groups according to their age; (2-16), (17-30), (31- 45) and (46 and more) years. The aim of this study is know the effect of using the weapons by Multi- National forces on the city peoples by the study of some biological and biochemical indicators. The results of the blood physiology refers to the significant increase at (P<0.05) in Hb, concentration, PCV, blood platelate, TWBC and the number of lymphocytes, monocytes, acidphils and basiophiles. on the other hand, there was a significant decrease in the Neutrophils in comparison with the control. The result of the biochemical test showed a significant increase in concentration of ALP, GOT/ AST, GPT/ ALP, DP and TSB while the statistical analysis doesn't show any significant difference in the indirect bilirubin (INDP). The Cytogenetic test showed the following results: first quantitative chromosomal aberration (10.4, 15.0)% as a increase (4.2,7.9)% and (6.2, 7.1)% respectively and qualtitve chromosomal aberration (42.8,37.6)% as a chromosomal breaking (10.6, 11.5)%, chromosomal rings (11.1, 9.3)%, a centric chromosomes (9.3, 8.0)%, Dicentric chromosomes (11.1, 8.7)% according to age and residence for the samples . we concluded, the weapons had both direct and indirect effects on the most blood physiology and biochemical indicators and the had effect on the genetic material by the effects on the cell divisions which lead to uncontrollable division, the spread of different types of cancers, disfigurative of the human beings, the premature death of embryos or their dis. figuration after birth.
