Abstract
Chapter one includes an introduction of the problem and its significance. It also focuses on studying the effect of the comparative-cooperative techniques in accordance to the distributing exercise on learning and acquiring the basic skills of volleyball properly and quickly. The appropriate selection of the curriculum which is compatible to the level of the athletes contributes to learning and acquiring the basic skills of volleyball properly and quickly. The significance of the study is to know how to use exercises which promote learning and are compatible to novices and juveniles. The current study aims at: 1. Knowing the effect of the comparative-cooperative techniques in accordance to the distributing exercise on learning and acquiring the basic skills of volleyball. 2. Knowing the best comparative-cooperative techniques in accordance to the distributing exercise that may contribute to learning and acquiring the basic skills of volleyball. Chapter two includes the concepts of learning and motor learning, their characteristics, the leaning stages and objectives, defining exercise and scheduling exercises, the volleyball basic skills and previous studies. Chapter three includes the methodology of the study. The experimental design has been used. The appropriate tests and experimental design have been selected. Chapter four includes the results of pretests and posttests and the retention test of the three groups. It also includes the statistical differences between the pretests and posttests. Chapter five includes conclusions and recommendations. The most important conclusions are: 1. The results of the comparative-cooperative competition techniques have been higher in posttests than in pretests. 2. The comparative technique has been better than the cooperative technique in developing the skills of sending and defense in volleyball. The following recommendations are addressed: 1. Using the comparative –cooperative competition techniques in developing the basic skills in volleyball. 2. Advising physical teachers and trainers to use the comparative –cooperative competition techniques in developing the basic skills in volleyball.
