| Abstract | ||
| Klebsiella ozenae uncommon cause of appendicitis was isolated from an appendix autopsy in Hilla teaching hospital. The result revealed that the antibiotic sensitivity of the bacteria was varying between resistant to Tetracycline, Trimethoprin, Cefotoxime, Ceftazidime, Cephalothin, Naldaxic acid, Amikacin and sensitive to Gentamicin and Impenem. The role of cell wall in antibiotic resistance was detected by removing of cell wall. Results showed that there was a significance differences in antibiotic sensitivity before and after removing of cell wall. Also the results revealed a differences in genetic contents and in plasmid profile before and after cell wall removal. | ||
