Abstract
AbstractThe banking sector has great impotance because it is considered the basic component which supports the economic development .The importance of the role of banking sector increases according to the nature of services which different kinds of banks presented .The process of measurement of the quality of banking services represents necessary and basic condition to recognize the role of Iraqi commercial banks in supporting economic development and achieving the aims of economic development .The process of quality measurement enables the banking services in Iraq to recognize the competing site of commercial banks over the local and international spheres .This research represents field study to know the reality of Iraqi banking sector and the nature of banking services which Iraqi banks present and also to know the extent of quality and the extent of sutifaction of customers towards these services .This gives opportunity for the management of banks to avoid the aspects of defects and treat them through the quality of services and to increase the level of quality which enables them to stand in the face of competition over the local and international sphere ,especially if we know that Iraq opened its ecomonics over the outer world are the whole respects.
