| Abstract | ||
| The study aimed to determine the effect of using video games and free play on the level of school affendance refusal among fifth grade students. The sample consisted of 117 students (boys and girls) of the age of (10-12) years. The researcher reached the following conclusions: There was a significant positive effect of video games on the level of school attendance refusal, followed by the effect of free play and last the effect of physical education classes. The recommendations of the study were: 1- Using different kinds of play to reduce the level of school attendance refusal among children. 2- Using different scales and measures and using bigger samples. 3- Studying relationships between school attendance refusal and other variables. 4- Conducting meeting and counseling conferences with parents to study the problem of school attendance refusal. | ||
