An experiment was conducted during the season of 2011/2012 in greenhouse to investigate the effect of 5 levels of potassium (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kg/ha of K2SO4) with spraying of three concentrations of agro leaf (0، 5، 10 (g/L and their interactions on growth and yield of eggplant var. Barcelone, by using of (R.C.B.D) design with 3 replicates.
Results showed that the levels of potassium and concentrations of agro leaf and their interaction had a significant effect on growth and yield. The highest average of plant height, branches, leaves numbers, fruits number / plant, fruit weight, yield/ plant and yield/ greenhouse were realized at the intraction of (50 kg/ha) K2SO4 with spraying of 10 g/L of agro leaf, which reached to 93.55 cm. and 4.11 branch, 81.56 leaf, 10.67 fruit, 138.67 g. and 1.400 kg. / plant and 3.920 ton/ greenhouse, respectively, while the control recorded the least average of these properties. |
