Abstract :
A factorial experiment was conducted to study the effect of six treatments of foliar fertilizer spray (NPK neutral , high- phosphorus fertilizer, high potassium fertilizer , urea , seaweeds extracts , and control) , two levels of boron (spray and without spray) and their interactions on certain nutrient concentration of broad bean leaves. The experiment was conducted in the agrarian farm at Al-Mhannawiya , Abu Gharaq, Babylon during 2012/2013 agricultural season as a factorial experiment within a complete randomized block design with three replications. The most important results of the experiment could be summarized as follow:
spraying foliar fertilizer led to increase the concentration of N, P, K and Na in the leaves , while it had no significant effect on boron leaf concentration . Boron led to a significant increase in leaves concentration of K, Ca and B, while it had no significant effect on N and P. The interaction had a significant effect on the concentration of all measured elements . |
