	Effect of humic acid and rosemary on productive and economical traits of Japanese quail birds grown in hot environment

Abstract
Abstract : This study was conducted in the experimental to find out the impact of humic acid and rosemary on the productive and economical qualities of Japanese quail grown in hot environment ; traits include final body weight , body weight gain , feed intake and feed conversion ratio during the first period ( 1 – 6 wk ) , besides egg production , egg weight , egg mass and feed conversion ratio for the second period ( 7 – 14 wk ) . A total of 240,one day old Japanese quail chicks ,7.5 gm/chick were used in the experiment .Chicken were divided randomly into four equal treatments ,each treatment included three replicates (20 chick/replicate ) . the first groups (T1) was fed on basal diet without feed additive and regarded as control mean while the 2nd groups (T2) was fed the same diet with additive 4 g humic acid , the 3rd groups (T3) was fed the same diet with additive 10 g rosemary and the 4th groups (T4) was fed the same diet with additive 4 g humic acid and 10 g rosemary . The experiment was lasted for 14 weeks . Results indicate a significant increase in final body weight , accumulative body weight gain and feed intake of theT4 groups as compared to the control groups as well as significant improvement in feed conversion ratio of theT2 groups as compared to the control groups of birds .On the other hand a significant increase of egg production , egg weight , egg mass and a significant improvement in feed conversion ratio of the T4 groups as compared to the control groups . The addition invested ID outcome was 2.195 , This figure is some how relatively big and reflect the economic beneficial of the addition the food compliments
