Abstract
Abstract : The effect of some saprophytic fungi in the soil with nematode trapping fungus Arthrobotrys oligospora. Fres. Was studied & the ability to converted it from saprophytic state to predation state. The results of media showed that the numbers of nematodes that caught by the fungus increased with time , in the first day the fungus was not catching only one nematode while in fourth day increased to 88 as well as the presence of nematodes lead to cause the fungus to make traps. Results also indicated that the presence of nematodes in the soil also led to increase susceptibility predation fungus A.oligospora to predator nematodes M. javanica and to transform it from saprophytic to predation because there is a weak competition on the organic materials. In the presence of saprophytic fungus the nematodes decreased down to 2920 nematodes for fungus Aspergillus niger and 3100 nematodes in Aspergillus flavus. In the case of a predator fungus alone, the decline in numbers down to 900 nematodes compared to comparison treatment 3500 , but when the predator fungus was added with A. niger the numbers was declined to 750 nematodes and with A. flavus to 810 nematodes .
