| Abstract | ||
| A series of substituted chalcones (1-4) were synthesized and used to prepare some new membered heterocyclic compounds (Pyrimidinones)(5-12) by their condensation with urea and thiourea, and four membered heterocyclic compounds (Pyrazolines) (13-16) by their condensation with 2,4-dinitrophenyl hydrazine also, four membered heterocyclic compounds (isoxazolines) (17-20) by their condensation with aminohydroxide hydrochloride. All reactions were carried out under microwave irradiation (MW1) is described. The synthesized compounds are characterized by FTIR and C.H.N analysis. We also study the biological activity for prepared compounds against four types of bacteria & one type of the fungi . | ||
