| the sport competitionworried and athletic achievementmotivation For Iraq's universitiesfootball teamsplayers,and to estimatesimple correlation coefficientsbetween the sport competitionworriedandthe two dimensionsachievement motivationSports (defended accomplishsuccess andmotivationto avoidfailure)anddetermine thestrengthand direction,as well aspartition of correlation coefficientsof the sport competitionworriedwith defended accomplishsuccess andmotivationto avoidfailuretodirect and indirect effects. The research sample consistedIraqi Universities football teamsplayers(Soccer)northern regionof the academic year(2012-2013) and numbered(90)players. Data were collectedusing thetwo scales, sport competitionworried and athletic achievementmotivation and the data obtained by the two researchershave been processedusing (percentage, mean, standard deviation, hypothetic mean law, t-testforone sample, simple correlationcoefficient and path analysis, the researchersconcludedthe following: - There isharmonybetweenthesport competitionworriedanddefendedaccomplishsuccessforthefootballplayers, intermsofsignificant correlation coefficientmatrix. - There is harmonybetween the sport competitionworried andmotivationtoavoidfailureof thefootballplayersandthatintermsofthe significant of correlation coefficientmatrix. - The directeffectsofcognitiveworriedinthe two dimensions of sportingachievementmotivationwascounterproductivenegative, low significancewithdefendedaccomplishsuccess, and was positive highly significant withmotivationtoavoidfailure, that is by comparingthe results withmeasurementsof path coefficients. - The direct effects of physical worriedwith the two dimensions of achievementmotivationsports(defended achievementofsuccess and motivationtoavoidfailure) was positive and non-significant (neglected), that is by comparingthe results withmeasurementspath coefficients. - The direct effects ofself-confidence in the two dimensions of achievementmotivationsports was positive and highly significant with defended achievementofsuccess and negative low significant withmotivationtoavoidfailure, hat is by comparingthe results withmeasurementspath coefficients. | ||
