| Abstract | ||
| The research was conducted in a private farm located Saddet AL- Hendiah / Babylon province during season of 2010 to evaluate the effect of stratification cold 5C° ( ±1 ) and warm stratification ( in the room temperature ) of in germination ratio of seed and growth seedling of Apricot ( Prunus armeniaca L. ). For knowledge the factors that hinder of germination of these seeds and ways of surmounting its. The stratification start in 1/1/2010 and after end periods of stratification the seeds grown in field in 16/2/2010. A factorial experiment with three replicates was complete block design , each treatment consist of ( 100 ) seeds. Results showed that the highest average of percentage seeds germination and seedling length significantly increased due to cold stratification. Such its 74.72% and 62.57cm respectively. Also showed significant increased in the period ( 45 days ) carry out highest average of same characters is 74,44% and 79,87cm respectively. | ||
