| Abstract | ||
| The effectiveness of the construction creatures of urbanization and the oldest , a working knowledge in making houses , palaces, mosques, fields ... etc. , has consistently rights since its existence on this planet to secure housing , which provides him with protection , security and stability , and done who believes in him living and enough strength. The city of Mosul, a commercial city are old, and are of great importance because of its strategic location is important because it was linked to the East and the West and the ease of communication with the neighboring regions , which are located on the west bank of the Tigris River and rises above sea level between 220-320 m and at a latitude of 12 / 36 north are within offers warm temperate and characterized by a Mediterranean climate all this helped her to be linked to the Middle West and the country of Iraq and its neighboring areas easily , so flourished fields in Mosul, especially in the Mamluk period ( 659-923 AH / 1260-1517 AD ) and increased the importance in the Ottoman Empire because of the location of Mosul on international trade routes at the time, which helped the trade exchanges between the States under the Ottoman Empire , and remote until China . | ||
