| This research tackles the subject of the Carnation Revolution and its impact on the growth of the national movement in East Timor . It began to study the Carnation Revolution in Portugal and its impact on The decolonization in the Portuguese colonies as a prelude, Aafter that it covered the growth of political awareness and the emergence of political parties and groups in East Timor, Then the emergence of competition and conflict between political entities, And a follow-up to this topic discussed the coalition between Fretilin and UDT and the beginning of a new phase of the political process in East Timor . It dealt with subject of decolonization and Macau Conference which was the last attempt to the Portuguese government for the decolonization in East Timor before the spread of violence and civil war in August 11, 1975. | ||
