the Kingdom of Oudh Received a great importance in the history of India
through its various stages, and through those phases Oudh was not independent ,
but it belonged to other Indian kingdoms and empires , whether Hindu and
Muslim during the era of the Mughal Empire 1526-1859 ,Oudh Acquired a great
importance and was announced Mughal as a province administratively by the
Mughal emperor Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar 1556-1605 Oudh , and enjoyed a
great economic importance because of its location between Calcutta and Delhi,and the fertility of agricultural lands, during the reign of Mughal Emperor Nasir
al-Din Muhammad Shah 1719-1748 the province of Oudh was governed Mir
Mohammad Amin Saadat Khan Burhan Al-Mulk as well as his position as
minister Mohammed Shah, and during the period of his rule he firmly controlled
the province administratively , politically and militarily, paving the way for ten
personalities of his dynasty ruled after him.
the history of Oudh under the rule of Mir Muhammad Amin had two stages :
the first, was represented by the nominal extension of the Mongols and it
continued form 1722 to 1819. The second was the stage of independence
particularly the ear of Ghazi Al-Din Haider who announced Oudh's independence
from the Mongols, and it lasted from 1819 to 1856, in fact, there were many
factors that played agreat role in Oudh's , independent these included political,
economical, cultural and religious reasons that were all centered around Oudh as
being an islamic Shi'ite , entity with its significant role in the modern history of
India. The announcement of the establishment of Oudh kingdom was an important
event in its political history for its great contents that came after years of
subordination to the Mughal Empire.the English East India Company Was
endorsedthat step to the belief that such a move are in their favor, but the course
of events proved otherwise.Especially since Ghazi al-Din had ascended to power
by force against the will of the company, his subsequent policies have shown the
full independence of the influence of company as he toke some monarchy titles,
punching coins, and keep him loyal to the ministers in his administration andOudh bequest. |
