| Abstract | ||
| The object of the present paper is finding the best estimator for the scale parameter of Laplace distribution using Entropy loss function with informative and non-informative priors are presented and compared with bayes estimators under Modified quadratic loss function with the same two priors. The comparison was made on the performance of these estimators with respect to the mean square error (MSE). The results showed that the Bayes' estimator under Entropy loss function with Inverted Gamma is the best estimator with a moderate and large sample sizes while the estimator under Modified quadratic loss function was better with small sample sizes and when the scale parameter has a small value. | ||
