| Abstract | ||
| This research is entitled by (The Role of clues in explaining the Meaning) which aims to clarify the role of clues in explaining the semantic and pragmatic meaning. The important role of the clues is that it is the key used to interpret and analyze texts and conversations, it is a tool to infer invariable event from variable event due to the relevance between them. The clues are divided into three types: (physical, mental and linguistically), which can be divided into mental and conventional clues. The research consists of introduction, conclusions, and two chapters the first one deals with the following areas: the clues, and types of clues, the second deals with the clues and meaning, and its role in explaining the meaning. In the conclusion the researcher mentioned the most important results which he has proven and abstract in English and Arabic languages. | ||
