| Abstract | ||
| The current study aimed at comparing Death anxiety according to self-image of elderly. To achieve the study aims the researcher developed death anxiety sacle wich consists of 16 items in its final form, and has developed self-image scale that consists of 30 items in its final form after computuing their psychometric characteristics. By using a sample consists of 400 elderly, the study results indicated that individuals have a medium degree of death anxiety. The results have indicated also that sample have high degree of self-image. In comparing the group that attained the highest degrees of self-image scale to group that attained lowest degrees on the same scale.when comparing them in death anxiety it appears that the difference between the two groups in death anxiety was significant and in favor of the lowest group(high death anxiety). In the light of these results the researcher presented asset of recommendations and suggestions for future studies. | ||
